Of course we all can’t live without television whether we choose to admit it or not. So it comes as no surprise that the writer’s guild strike affected a lot of us couch potatoess out there after all who could sleep without hearing David letterman’s top 10 list? Or Conan o' Brian’s hysterical antics? Anyway I see all of this as just another opportunity for writers to try and squeeze more money from the industry. I mean writers earn a lot and they still aren’t satisfied with the amount of cash - they still want more. As a result of their greed a lot of people are going to be left jobless this holiday season think of all the crews who have to go home and tell their families that they have to eat mac and cheese this thanksgiving. See the writers already get a part of profits from dvd and internet movies sales they want a bigger share for their greedy pockets, whatever happened to just writing because you love to  write? Isn’t it enough that you get to earn money doing the thing which you love the most? I hope the strike ends soon cause I don’t want to see a lot of people unhappy this holiday season.
